跟M7沒啥關係啦

M7充其量只是一顆簡單省電的ＣＰＵ而已
為了待機或背景執行所做的處理器 因為A7太耗電了
Apple才會想這種偏方來省電延長使用時間

不是陀螺儀,指南針,重力感應器...等

許多人或許也是這樣，可能一年開不到一次指南針。

但是，這不是只影響指南針而已。

看Gizmodo他們測試，手機在水平的狀況下，玩賽車遊戲，
車子還是一直偏行：



該篇測試的文末也有點出，這次Apple還頗強調這顆M7，但卻在這地方出了包。

無論使用者是否『I don't care』，都不應該是如此。

希望台灣開賣的時候，能有所解決

The Apple M7 (codename Oscar) is a motion co-processor used by Apple Inc. in iPhone 5s. Its function is to collect sensor data from integrated accelerometers, gyroscopes and compasses and offload the collecting and processing of sensor data from the main central processing unit (CPU). It was introduced in September 2013, and is used in the iPhone 5S.

Chipworks found that the M7 most likely is a NXP LPC1800 based microcontroller called LPC18A1. It uses an ARM Cortex-M3 core with a customised packaging and naming scheme indicating that it is a for Apple customized part.


The Apple M7 co-processor collects, processes and stores sensor data even if the device is asleep, and applications can retrieve data when the device is powered up again. This will reduce power draw of the device and save battery life.[5]

The M7 is accessible to applications through the Core Motion API in iOS 7, so it will, for example, allow fitness apps that track physical activity and access data from the M7 without constantly engaging the main A7 CPU. It will enable applications to be aware of what type of movement the user is experiencing, such as driving, walking, running or sleeping.Another application could be the ability to do indoor tracking and mapping.
