    之前我在美國iTunes Store申請了一個帳號,
    後來因gift card出問題使得帳號被停權所以沒再使用了。

    最近我想在台灣的iTunes Store申請一個帳號並使用信用卡付款,
    但我還想用之前美國帳號那個E-Mail來申請,
    所以我就寄了封e-mail給iTunes Store的客服。

    但由於我英文能力不佳,
    他落落長的回覆使我看得有點吃力,
    得知他的大概內容如下:

    因為你之前購買有問題的gift caard導致帳號失去使用能力,
    若要恢復必須提供完整的地址。

    如果要改變iTunes Store帳號的國籍,
    請參考以下步驟:

    1. 確認你使用的iTunes為最新版本,它可在http://www.itunes.com/download免費索取。
    2. 點選以下網址以開啓iTunes並連結至蘋果賬戶資訊(Apple Account Information)頁面:http://phobos.apple.com/accountSummary
    3. 輸入你的iTunes Store帳號名稱及密碼,並點選賬戶資訊。
    4. 在蘋果賬戶資訊(Apple Account Information)頁面,點選更改國家(Change Country)。
    5. 點選最新資訊(update information)並儲存你的更變。

    大致上的內容是這樣,
    因為他的回覆真的很長,
    我截取了大概的重點並貼上來,
    後來我也回覆給他我的英文住址。

    不知道有經驗的前輩能否提供意見及經驗,
    有可能我的破英文會錯客服的意思.. .. ..

    I understand that you want to cancel your iTunes Store account 'seanjr42*yahoo.com.tw', so that you can open a new account with this ID for the Taiwan Store. I imagine you are anxious to have this done and I would like to provide you with some information on this today.

    First, I have been reviewing your account 'seanjr42*yahoo.com.tw' and I wanted to advise you that from the information available to me your account has been disabled. Please understand, your account was disabled because the purchaser of an iTunes Gift Certificate redeemed to your account has refuted the charges with his or her credit card company.

    When charges are reported as unauthorized, any remaining iTunes Store credit from the disputed purchase is considered unauthorized and is removed from the account.

    If you purchased the iTunes Gift Certificate on an ******* website, it may have been part of a fraud claim. You may want to address the issues with your purchase to the seller, or use any dispute resolution service provided by the ******* website or other remedies that might otherwise be available to you.

    If the iTunes Gift Certificate was purchased from Apple, the buyer will need to contact his or her credit card company to discuss the disputed purchase.

    In order to reenable your account Apple requires that you provide the billing address listed on your account. Please note that we need the street address, city, and zip code.

    Upon receiving your response, Apple will verify your billing address, and reenable your account for you.

    Furthermore, please know that you can change the country associated with your iTunes Store account rather than canceling the account and starting over. If you are interested in changing the country associated with your account, please note the following before you change the country in your account:

    1. You will be asked to provide a valid billing address in the new country as well as a payment method, such as a credit card or debit card, that was issued in the new country. Without these, you will not be able to change your account's country.

    2. Please be aware that content purchased from the iTunes Store is country-specific. If you wish to upgrade any of your iTunes Store content to iTunes Plus, you'll need to do so before you change your account's country. After you change countries in your account, you won't be able to upgrade the content you purchased while your account was set to the previous country.

    3. The content from the App Store is also country-specific. If you wish to upgrade any of your applications, please do so before changing countries. After you change countries, you won't be able to upgrade the applications you purchased while your account was set to the previous country.

    4. If you have any store credit, you will need to use the credit before you can change countries in your account.

    5. If you have any items that are not downloaded or rentals that have not expired, you will not be able to change countries in your account until after you download the items or watch the rentals.

    For your reference, the following steps explain how to change the country for your account:

    1) First, make sure you're using the latest version of iTunes. It's available free of charge:

    2) Click the following link to open iTunes and access the Apple Account Information page:

    3) Enter your iTunes Store account name and password, then click Account Info.

    4) On the Apple Account Information page, click Change Country.

    5) Enter the updated information and save your changes.

    If however, you are not interested in changing the country on your current account, there are a couple of options that will allow you to retain full access to the items you purchased that have digital-rights management (DRM) while preventing your account from being used to make additional purchases:

    1) You can remove your billing information from your account at any time so that it can't be used to make purchases. By doing this, you retain the ability to authorize computers to play the items with DRM that you have purchased with the account, and you will still have the account open in case you decide to use it later. Here are the instructions for removing the billing information while keeping the account open:

    2) The iTunes Store can keep your account disabled, which will prevent it from being used to make purchases, but you will still be able to play the items you purchased with the account. You can also remove your billing information from the account if you wish.

    It is also possible to cancel the account, but you may lose the ability to play the items with DRM that you've already purchased from the iTunes Store. For example, if your computer is repaired, you may not be able to reauthorize the computer to play your DRM purchases after the repair. Also, you wouldn't be able to authorize computers that were not already authorized before you canceled the account. You may sign up for a new account in the future, but your new account will not play any of the DRM items purchased with the canceled account (and you can't reactivate the canceled account).

    In addition, if your account name is also your Apple ID, then canceling the account will change the registration information for any product that you've registered with that Apple ID. This can make it difficult to sign in to other Apple websites that ask for an Apple ID and password.

    You should not cancel the account if you want to be sure you can continue to use your iTunes Store purchases that have DRM. I recommend either removing your billing information or keeping the account disabled as described above.

    Note that if you have purchased any iTunes Plus content from the iTunes Store, or if you have upgraded any of your DRM purchases to iTunes Plus, canceling your iTunes Store account will not affect your ability to play the iTunes Plus items on existing, new, or repaired computers.

    If you would like the iTunes Store to cancel the account "seanjr42*yahoo.com.tw", please reply to this email specifying that you would like it canceled and include the following information. This is necessary for security purposes.

    - The billing address listed on the account
    - Your permission to reset the password

    ...as well as one of the following:

    - the last four digits of the credit card used for your iTunes Store account
    - or the order number of your most recent purchase
    - or the name of any item you've purchased using this account

    Upon receiving your response, Apple will verify your information, cancel your account, and send you an email confirmation.

    我看了一下
    你有沒有要解決鎖帳號的問題啊?
    因為你要是換國家的話
    之前買的東西(apps)會不能升級
    然後你的步驟應該是對的
    不過我覺得有機會的話先想辦法恢復舊帳號吧!

    我有跟客服要求恢復美國帳號(seanjr42*yahoo.com.tw),
    然後再把帳號移到台灣iTunes Store。
    客服的意思不是說把我的詳細地址給他,
    帳號就能恢復,
    然後即可依照他的步驟去更改iTunes Store的帳號至台灣嗎?

    還是我會錯意,
    要恢復帳號根本不是給他地址就好了.. .. ..? 囧rz

    其實App能不能保留及更新我不是那麼在意了,
    我只希望在美國被鎖的那個帳號能移到台灣並正常使用.. .. ..
    (我想用酷幣卡。)

    我剛有照他的步驟去更改帳號國家,
    可是出現這樣的訊息:

    You have a store credit balance; you must spend your balance before you can change stores.

    所以我想可能還是得將被停權的美國帳號恢復才能移到台灣使用,
    而客服提到的帳號恢復方式不是給他詳細地址即可嗎?
    (欸.. .. ..英文真的太破了.. .. ..)

    這段是指要給他我當時註冊美國帳號用的地址,
    還是我現在在台灣居住的地址?
    可是當時申請美國帳號的地址是亂掰的.. .. ..

    應該是美國的喔~

    如果你要直接砍掉美國帳號的話
    一但電腦重灌,所有之前買的有DRM的東西都無法使用喔
    還有他沒有說新的帳號能不能跟被砍掉的一樣耶XD

    後來我又寄給他一封e-mail,
    告知我當時申請時填的美國地址及現在台灣的英文住址,
    不知道他會怎麼處理。

    真的很感謝hiraku大啊! Orz
    這時候就發現英文破真的很不方便.. .. ..

    再向你請教一下,
    我現在是3.0.1的JB,
    那我到時後若要升至3.1並JB,
    那JB後作的更動(佈景、字體和Cydia抓下來的軟體等等)和App Store的下載東西都要重弄嗎?
    還是App Store的軟體能從電腦再傳回更新為3.1的iPhone(並不用另外收費)?
