iAPODViewerLIte is the "lite" and free version of iAPODViewer.

iAPODViewerLite provides an iPhone/iPOD friendly interface to NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day Website. Each day APOD presents an image along with a description written by a professional astronomer.

If you are an astronomy student, an enthusiast or just want to view and discover the mysteries of the universe around you, then iAPODViewerLite is for you.

- With iAPODViewerLite you are able to view the current day's APOD as well as navigate through APODs daily.

- In addition a Random view (shake your phone to refresh) will present a random APOD from the thousands available.

- Clicking the image on the main screen will show the image actual size (you can pinch to reduce/enlarge and scroll as you see fit)

- Landscape & Portrait View of APODs
