Math Fact Drills is designed to aid first through fourth graders in memorizing their addition, subtraction, multiplication and division math. Math Fact Drills encourages memorization by requiring the child to enter the answer versus selecting options from a list. As a game, positive reinforcement is given on correct answers and the ability to try again on mistakes.
Developed for my own first grader who dreaded practicing with flash cards; practicing math on an iPhone/iPod becomes an event while traveling in the car, waiting in line at the store or as an after school activity.
Math Fact Drills has the following features:
• Presents math questions in both vertical and horizontal formats based upon device rotation.
• Randomized questions.
• Ability to configure how many questions are asked.
• Ability to configure the difficulty level. Based on your child’s progression, parents can set the range of numbers asked (i.e. numbers 0 through 6, 10, etc.)
• Positive reinforcement through smiley faces and text.
