Apple在今天的發表會中，發表了搭載Retina Display與4G LTE的新款iPad、可播放1080p的新款Apple TV、新版iWork與iMovie、Garage Band以及iPhoto for iPad。

發表會由Tim Cook率先登場。
後PC時代產品：iPod、iPhone、iPad，佔76%的收入。
Apple Store，362家店面，2011年Q4有一億一千萬名訪客。
iOS裝置，上季賣出6,200萬台。

Siri日本語版正式發表，將在iOS 5.1中登場，今日即可使用，數週內在日本展開服務。
新款Apple TV

新版Apple TV，支援1080p播放，並可從iCloud讀取音樂播放列表，iTunes in the Cloud功能也正式支援電影。售價$99，3月16日發售。
上一季賣出1540萬台iPad。

厚度9.4mm，重量1.4磅（比iPad 2重了一點點）。
黑白兩色，售價$499起跳。（16GB $499, 32GB $599, 64GB $699，4G版本為629、729、829）
發售日，3月16日。同時在美國、加拿大、英國、法國、德國、瑞典、日本、香港、新加坡、澳洲發售，今日開始預購。

iPhoto for iPad，包含智慧型瀏覽、多點觸控編輯、專業品質的效果、筆刷、相片日記等功能。最高可匯入1,900萬像素的相片，並支援上傳到各種服務。
編修功能包含自動水平相片、各種裁切尺寸、對比陰影調整、飽和度、曝光、白平衡。

iPhoto for iPad可以幫大家製作相簿。相簿風格看起來像是Flipboard，中間可以插入文字、日期、當時的天氣、地圖等等小Widget。
同樣，相片可以推送到iCloud上，讓其他人直接用瀏覽器看（容量又不夠了）。

大概就是這樣，至於新款iPad以及以後的iPad，基本上都會以代數來命名。2012年新款iPad正式名稱為「iPad 3rd Generation」。
