yes only way is hardware unlock ... remove your iphone 3gs BB chip set to unlock is ....
Main land and china is doing , not cheap......

i also waiting...about 4 months.....
the unlock expert group , they know how to do , but they delay it , they want wait for iphone 4G or iphone os 4 , just will come out unlock....

we expect few more week in june , iphone 4g will be on news , but not yet confirm

see and wait...
