前天在Apple us 論譠看到這話題: 就題問說::
ABC player在iPad可觀看(但很摸糊...在我iPad上),為什么在電腦上看要裝Flash 10.0或以上才能看?!
我把回應貼給大大們參考(因這篇己被阿婆下架)這是我email收到的:

Actually, they're using H.264

HTML5 is not a video format.

HTML5 does not equal H.264 and vice versa. The standards for video on HTML5 have not yet been formally defined and accepted. A web site or web app can be following HTML5 for the web coding and not use h.264, and a site can use H.264 but not be following HTML5 standards for the page coding. The two are interrelated but not interdependent.

ABC would have to be using H.264 for their content to play on an iPad, since the proposed standard formats (Ogg Theora, webM) will not work on an iPad. Whether or not ABC is using HTML5 in their app I can't say, but unless it's a web app, more probably they're using Apple's normal APIs.

Yes, that site confirms exactly what I said. HTML5 is *not* a video format.

The HTML5 element is a new markup tag added to the HTML standard, which allows web developers to embed supported video formats into a page without using external plugins.

Supported *video formats* include: H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, Ogg Theora and WebM (support varies by browser).

文章被下架的原因應該是最後那句吧
大意是說 大家都知道蘋果在Flash戰爭中已經輸掉,
遷等他面對事實

可現實是 很多知度的與影片有關的網站都已經轉換成html5/H.263
如果支援Flash 的代價會很大, 那我寧可不支援Flash,
如果有支援Flash 那當然更好, 就像收集古董一樣
