You will know if your message was successfully sent, as well as if it was acknowledged. A visual icon in the app changes based on the state of your alarm!Messages are sent to your contact(s) via SMS text messaging and email, as well as by automated phone voice messaging and conference calls.* If you have a Facebook account, info requests can also be posted to your Facebook Status! 5 Alarms are included with purchase of app. After you have consumed your SMS/Voice Alarm credits you may purchase more via In App Purchase. The system will send Alarm Notifications and Test Alarm Notifications via Email and if you enable, to your Facebook Wall for no charge.WHAT'S INCLUDED The purchase of this application includes the ability to alert up to 5 personal contacts, that you choose direct from your exisiting Address Book. In setting up your system you may utilize the Test Alarm feature, which will simulate an actual alert, complete with Test Messages and automated phone voice messaging. You can disable sms / voice testing to conserve your alarm credits. Tests will then only go out via email and Facebook.THE SafetyGrid ADVANTAGE You'll be visually notified of the status of your alarm request by color changes to the alert button. You'll be notified of reactions to your alarm status such as: -Message Delivery Success - Message Delivery Acknowledgement - Network Failure to SubmitThis means you will know when someone reacts to your alarm, indicating that your contacts have received your notification providing peace of mind. Also just as importantly, letting you know when there is a problem getting the message delivered to the SafetyGrid servers.If the SafetyGrid user presses the Home button after an alarm has been sent, the application will continue to provide updated location information to the Safety Grid system. The alarm must be cancelled to stop it.All status notifications are silent while SafetyGrid is running in the background. This allows you to initate an alert and hide the application,keeping it in "stealth mode" so as not to alert potential attackers that you have alerted contacts for help.IN COMPLETE SILENCE Even if you can't or are unable to speak, SafetyGrid can safely and discreetly notify your friends and family members of your need for help.SET UP AND ACTIVATION You choose your SafetyGrid contacts from your existing Address Book information. It is critical to ensure that you have accurate phone and e-mail records for your contacts as that is paramount in ensuring the ability to reach each of your contacts. Contacts are also able to update their contact information on the SafetyGrid network. They will receive an email with a link to activate their account.ACCURACY OF LOCATION INFORMATION depends on many environmental conditions that are outside our control.
