如果大家每年時不時地會看看Apple的產品發表會，或是網站上的介紹影片的話，大概就會看過Apple的硬體工程資深副總裁── Bob Mansfield。不過就在今天，Apple正式宣佈Bob Mansfield將從Apple退休了。
Bob Mansfield從1999年Apple收購Raycer Graphics時加入Apple，2005年開始負責領導Mac硬體工程，並在2010年接手iPhone、iPod，以及初代iPad的研發。
“Bob has been an instrumental part of our executive team, leading the hardware engineering organization and overseeing the team that has delivered dozens of breakthrough products over the years. We are very sad to have him leave and hope he enjoys every day of his retirement.”
“Dan has been one of Bob’s key lieutenants for a very long time and is very well respected within Apple and by the industry. Our hardware engineering team is the best engineering team on earth and will not miss a beat during the transition.”
Bob一直都是我們管理團隊中重要的一部分，領導並監督著硬體團隊，在多年來研發出了許多突破性的產品。我們對於他的離去非常傷心，同時也希望他享受退休後的每一天。
Dan長期以來都是Bon的主要副手之一，並且在業界與Apple內都備受尊敬。我們的硬體工程團隊是地球上最好的團隊，而在這段過度期間，也不會錯過每一拍節奏。
而在Bob Mansfield退休後，接任硬體工程副總裁一職的是現任iPad硬體工程副總裁Dan Riccio。Dan Riccio在1998年加入Apple，並在大部分Apple硬體研發中扮演著關鍵角色。“Dan has been one of Bob’s key lieutenants for a very long time and is very well respected within Apple and by the industry. Our hardware engineering team is the best engineering team on earth and will not miss a beat during the transition.”
