今天Apple已經透過新聞稿正式發表，WWDC 2013將在當地時間6月10日到6月14日舉辦，地點依然是San Francisco的Moscone West。而在售票方面，將在當地時間4月25日上午10點（台灣時間26日上午1點）開始發售。

根據Philip Schiller在新聞稿內的敘述：
“We look forward to gathering at WWDC 2013 with the incredible community of iOS and OS X developers. Our developers have had the most prolific and profitable year ever, and we’re excited to show them the latest advances in software technologies and developer tools to help them create innovative new apps. We can’t wait to get new versions of iOS and OS X into their hands at WWDC.”
「我們期待在WWDC 2013與iOS以及OSX開發社群聚會。今年是我們的開發者們獲利最豐厚的一年，我們也非常興奮能夠向他們展示軟體科技以及開發工具最新的發展，來幫助他們創造出革命性的新軟體。我們已經等不及要在WWDC上，把最新版本的iOS與OSX交到他們的手上了。」
依照新聞稿內的說法，Apple似乎有可能在WWDC 2013上向開發者們發佈iOS 7以及OS X 10.9的測試版。至於硬體產品方面，目前還沒有多少消息。
順道一提，本次WWDC 2013的開幕演講是最近兩年以來間隔時間最長（230天）的發表會。
