How often do you have to run to the store a second or third time? Assuming you have better things to do (like playing games on your iPhone), use this app to buy the items you need in a single trip.

You can select from the 1000+ items in the built in Stores, which are neatly organized in a number of categories. You can add / edit / delete categories and items at will. You can add your own Stores for your favorite activity, e.g. camping, fishing, crafts, antiques, sewing, etc. Any changes you make will be preserved when you receive future (free) upgrades of the app. You can create entire new stores inside the iShopping application or by using a simple spreadsheet on the Mac or PC (see MangoLLC web site for details).

In addition to the Store with many items, iShopping also has a list of Favorites, a simple, flat list that you can use for quick selection of your most frequently used items.

From either Stores or Favorites, items can be added to the Shopping List. While at the store, you can move items from the Shopping List to your Cart. When done shopping, you can add items to your Favorites and you can clear your Cart.

iShopping allows you to track the Best Prices and Store for each item, enabling you to be cost sensitive while shopping. In no time will you earn back the cost of the app in savings at the store... and gas by eliminating trips!

If you have a Google Docs account, you can export your shopping list to Google Docs, from where it can be accessed over the internet and / or shared with others (for viewing only - no editing and / or synchronization back with the iPod / iPhone). You can also backup / restore the entire database to / from Google Docs.
