This application can be used to get you the answer of fractions additions, subtractions in fraction format instead of decimal.

Or, it can be used as a teaching / tutoring tool to walk you through the necessary steps needed to perform fractions additions or subtractions.

You will no longer feel challenged or intimated by solving fraction problems. This application will solve any fractions problem with detailed steps included.

For example: To solve the fraction problem: 7/12 - 3/4
• The application will first give you the answer, which is equal to 1 1/3

The three detailed steps:
• The application will show the first step as determining the LCD (Lowest Common Denominator), which will be illustrated clearly. For this example, the LCD = 12. (See Screenshots)

• The second step the application will show you to re-write the new fractions with the new denominator and multiplying the numerators to get the equivalent fractions

• The last step will perform the additions or subtractions of the numerators. And then simplify if needed by identifying the GCD (Greatest Common Divisor). This step also includes resolving result improper fractions and convert it to a mix fraction
