Do you remember the popular paper-based game called Hangman that we all played as kids where you try to guess the word by guessing individual letters? Well, now you can play that same type of game on your IPhone or IPod Touch. With 400 words ranging from 3 letters to 10 letters, this game is great for the entire family and is not only fun, but a great educational tool to help kids practice spelling as well as broadening their vocabulary. Feel good again about letting your children play a video game.

Word Guess features the following:
-- 1 to 5 players
-- Each player can choose what their minimum and maximum word length should be that way younger kids can have shorter words while adults can test their knowledge with longer words
-- Choose from 1 to 100 rounds to play
-- Choose from 5 to 15 wrong guesses that should be allowed before the player's turn is over
-- Score tracking. Every correct word guessed results in a point to the player. The player with the most points (guessed words) after all rounds have been played is the winner
-- If a network connection (WIFI or carrier) is detected upon application start, a dictionary lookup key will be displayed in the upper right hand corner after the word has either been guessed or the player's turn is over, which (if pushed) will take the user to Dictionary.com and show the definition of the word. This will allow kids (and yes some of us adults) expand our vocabulary.
