JMDictate transforms your iPhone or iPod Touch (2nd Generation) into a dictation device that sets new standards. JMDictate offers a professional recording system with extremely fast reaction, simple navigation, overwriting of recordings at any point and voice activated recording. A comprehensive mobile workflow for recording, management and sharing of dictations completes the package.

The recording system is tailored to the needs of professional users. Recording is voice activated, i.e. JMDicate recognizes speech pauses and pauses recording automatically. As soon as you resume speaking, recording is continued automatically. This system allows you to dictate fluidly, but also to make longer pauses, i.e. to review written notes, without having to keep an eye on your dictation device all the time. Wind the recording forward and backwards at two speeds each with the intuitive controls to reach any point in the recording quickly. Recorded dictations can be shared via e-mail from anywhere or as a download to any web browser within the same Wi-Fi network.

JMDictate's user interface is designed for professional use, with a simple structure and reduced to the essentials. Dictations are saved in WAV format to ensure maximum compatibility to all kinds of transcription and player applications on major operating systems.

This is our free limited version of JMDictate. JMDictate Free offers all functions of JMDictate, but limits each single dictation to a length of 30 seonds (30 minutes in the full version) and manages no more than 5 dictations at the same time (limited only by available memory in the full version).

Note to iPod Touch users: Only 2nd generation iPod Touches with a microphone headset are suitable for dictations with JMDictate.
