The Tube Bias Application is for anyone that needs to calculate the bias current of the most common power tubes based on a measured plate voltage. This application will take your plate voltage measurement and allow you to select one of seven common power tubes and then return the maximum bias current for your power tubes. The Tube Bias Application will return the bias current for both a Class A amplifier and a Class AB amplifier. In order to use this application, it is required that you be able to safely measure plate voltage and understand if you are biasing a Class A amplifier or a Class AB amplifier.
