scannerFM is an alternative radio station made in Barcelona. It was started in 2004 as an endterm project at a Radio Direction MBA. Broadcasting started on 2004 and soon ScannerFM's programming reached 30 programs, all of them led by notable people from the alternative music scene in Spain. In 2005 scannerFM became the first online radio with a Premio Ondas (the most important radio award).

In 2006 scannerFM became the first Spanish radio you can tune on the 3G mobiles via internet. In 5 years scannerFM has launched scannerBCN, Primavera Radio, SonarRadio, scannerTV, an own social network -scanner club- and now the possibility that you follow us here too.
