The application uses a powerful iPhone feature that allows you to track all points of interest closest to your location. (In Greece only)
The first screen lists the 16 basic POI categories, for example Eating Out, Entertainment, Health etc.
Moreover, every category is divided into a list with subcategories so that you can easily select one or more points based on several criteria, e.g distance from current location.
The list displays detailed information about the specific point of interest, such as address and phone numbers if available as well as the distance from your current location.
Just a simple touch of the selected point allows you to locate it οn google maps (provided there is Internet connection) or simply call its number.
For every position the "Radar" button is available, ensuring constant monitoring of your current location, your route and the relative points of interest around, which are presented in a radar screen relative to your location. At the same time, the Radar Monitor displays the speed (if on the move) as well as the direction on a compass.
The application does not require Internet connection (except for the displaing of the points on the map) since all data - grouped in 16 categories and 140 subcategories all over Greece - are stored to the application.
The first release of the application includes only an indicative number of POIs but it is fully - expandable.
