Description:

This application is a countdown timer to assist sailors at yacht race starts. A large digital display showing the time to the start is displayed. The minutes to start can be easily set and adjusted and the seconds value easily synchronized to committee signals. A lock is provided to ensure that the countdown cannot be accidently changed once correctly set. Sound signals are played and flag signals displayed as the timer counts down to the start.
When the start time (0:00) is reached the timer changes state and records the elapsed race time until stopped by the operator.
