The What:

PixSter is an application that allows you to upload Pictures with Captions from your iPhone seamlessly to Facebook (called PixTing), this will post to the Facebook homescreen for all your friends to see. PixSter also allows you to change your Facebook Status message with the ability to add a link to your current location using the iPhones built in GPS . It is done using some Hi Tech satellite stuff from Outer Space we don’t really understand.

The Why:

Why just alert friends of what you are doing with plain old text and status updates? Why not show them what you are doing with both Pictures and Text, or even show them where you are on the Map? Upload a Picture of something cool with a funny Caption and post away! We like to think that if Facebook and Twitter had a baby it would be PixSter.

The Who:

Anyone with an iPhone and a Facebook account.

The Where:

Everywhere except probably most of Kansas.

The When:

Start PixTing now!

- Upload photos from you camera or photo album to Facebook with a Caption. This will post to the home page for people to see. The picture is added to a special album in your account.

- Change status messages.

- Add your GPS location via a Google Maps link to your Status update to show people where you are.
