Description:

EVCalc is a small App that should help you to calculate exposure bracketing. This is useful to create a series of images to combine them to HDR pictures.
Most of the modern SLR cameras come with a feature that called Automatic Exposure Bracketing (AEB). But often they support only 3 images in a row and only with a max. distance between the exposures of ±2 EV ( EV = Exposure Value ). To cover a larger range you need more exposures or a larger distance between these images.
EVCalc can give you values for a distance of 1- 3 EV and for at least 5 exposures. In a next version I will implement a switch to change this between 3, 5 and 7 exposures.

You can also lock the Pickerwheels (EV lock) so when you change one exposure parameter then the opposite one changes accordingly to keep the EV constant. So you can shift the bracketing range if it not fits.

If one parameter in the table is out of range you will see a red N/A. The range for exposure times is 1/8000 to 120 seconds and the f-stop (aperture) reaches from f/1.0 to f/64 .
