NOTE: A Flower Lite is identical to the paid version of A Flower except that A Flower Lite resets whenever the flower reaches the edge of the screen.

A Flower Lite is an interactive work of art that allows users to control the growth of a graphical "flower" as it evolves from a humble gray dot into beautiful and fantastical shapes. A Flower Lite is not a fast-paced game. Instead, it reacts to user input in ways that encourage contemplation and experimentation.

A Flower Lite's user interface is extremely simple: tap anywhere with one finger to slow the flower's growth; tap anywhere with two fingers to speed the flower's growth; tap anywhere with three fingers to reset the flower. Users can combine these three gestures to create a wide range of beautiful shapes and colors. For example, a string of one-finger taps can turn the flower into a bright, slow-moving circle of subtly-shaded pastels, and then a string of two-finger taps can bring out regions of vivid primary colors.

Despite the simplicity of its interface, A Flower Lite is capable of producing images of great beauty and complexity and immersing a user in its world.

NOTE: You may take a screenshot of this (or any) app by simultaneously holding down the home button and pressing the power button. In this way, you can use A Flower Lite to generate background images for your device, or you can e-mail images that you create to your friends!
