MiCasa FREE is a free version of MiCasa that is limited to control of a single device. It connects to a home automation gateway and allows for remote control of a single switch, outlet, or dimmer on an insteon home network. The full version allows control of more than one device. Once configured with server information, MiCasa automatically configures itself and learns what things are available for it to control. No additional PC setup, expensive customized configurations, or additional software is required! The home automation gateways supported by release version 1.0 are only the SimpleHomeNet EZSrve (EZServe) and EZBridge home automation gateways. Supports most insteon switches, dimmers, and appliance modules with insteon device categories 0x01 & 0x02. MiCasa does not currently support more advanced insteon devices such as Thermostats, I/O controllers, or sprinkler controllers.
