VNC Pocket Office features built-in Wake up on Lan (WOL) options. This means that even when your VNC server Mac or PC is in sleep mode you can wake it up from VNC Pocket Office to connect over VNC. WOL can be set up to work over WiFi and/or remotely over the internet.

Requirements for WOL (not required for normal VNC use)

1. The VNC server system must have a WOL capable ethernet card and the OS must be configured to allow WOL.
2. For remote (internet) use the UDP port to be used for WOL must be forwarded correctly to the VNC server system.
