Not anymore since few years ago(Not sure about Apple).
When I purchase the Shrue iPhone adapter from Apple store, the guy told me it is 14 days free return without restocking fee. For iPhone and iPhone BT earpiece is 14 days with 10% restocking fee charge.

Few years ago, I have purchased a Belkin router from Staples and asked about what is the return policy. For Tech. items, there is 14 days only which is 2 weeks.

也有不少人猜3G iPhone並不會在WWDC公佈，而是直接上架，
畢竟那是軟體為主的研討會，
重點大概還是2.0與SDK吧，
可能月底之前就會有Apple Store「We'll be back soon.」的訊息出現。
