ColorDev is color picker for Cocoa programmers and UI designers.

It's a simple HSBA interface that renders UIColors with device specific accuracy. The readout includes zero-to-one UIColor values as well as hexadecimal for color matching in your favorite graphics editor.

This app isn't meant to replace the awesome, free Developer Color Picker from Panic's Wade Cosgrove. If you don't have that yet check it out.

Instead it's a handy complement to any UI workflow, with a fast and intuitive interface.

I've used it for a while in my own workflow and thought you guys might want to check it out.

Instructions:
- The color view is the adjustment control. It works just like Photoshop.
- Swipe the readout to access the hexadecimal values.

Notes:

*This application runs at full blast on the 3GS, and will run at a slower frame rate on older devices*

*The screenshots displayed here do not match the colors that actually rendered onscreen, which is the problem this utility solves, and why it's totally awesome*

*Of interest: this entire interface is rendered in code using layers (except for the hex pattern in the background, which is the only image)*
