Just wondering is it possible to buy iPad 32GB 3G + WiFi at the apple store in New York
Because my friend will be going to New York for a few days, so i want him to bring one back for me, but just not sure about can he buy one at the shop.

Bring his passport with him, either you pay cash or credit card(make sure it works at US) will be fine.

and make sure he goes in apple store the first day he gets there to make a reservation, because it might be sold out. however, reservation normally only takes one to two days til you get your ipad

Or if you have friends in HK, you can just ask them to buy one for you. There are a lots of iPad in the shopping mall and the price of iPad is just about HKD$500 more than the original price.

You can try to call the NY Apple store to verify. Supposed no one in here can answer you if you can get one in NY if they don't live in NY.
