Here’s what we did:

1. We wrote down almost every name in the bookstore’s fantasy section. (Seriously.)
2. We modified some of the names for comic relief.
3. We classified our favorite 3,800 names into character types.
4. We commissioned art from Maggie Parr.
5. We made this app.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Select a character type.
2. Browse the resulting names alphabetically or shake for a random pick.
3. When you find names you like, add them to Favorites.
4. Keep them in Favorites for quick reference and/or email them.
5. Write a nice review. :)

The names are sorted into male and female for each of the these categories: Fighter, Wizard, Healer, Rogue, Elf, Dwarf, Halfling, Gnome, and Monster.
