Make recordings of anything you want for playback with fun audio effects and animated on-screen actors that will move to the words you give them.

Use your own recordings or enter text for Yak's built-in text-to-speech voices to say for you. Yak can also translate your text into 17 different languages.

Playback effects include the the ability to change pitch, dialect, add an echo, simulated spinning speaker, “Max Headroom”, reverse playback and more.

The new DJ Mix panel includes 9 built in backbeats and 11 built in sound/instrument effects. Play your recordings or text-to-speech clips through the DJ Mix panel for live DJ effects.

Yak uses easy touch based controls for recording and playback.

All text and audio clips are automatically stored in your own library of clips. The library manager tracks when each clip was created, when it was last played and how often a clip has been played.

Yak includes 25 language dialects and a link to Yahoo Babelfish or Google Translate for real-time translation of text-to-speech clips. You can listen to what you type as it is spoken back in any of 17 different languages.
