What's New

Thank you for using The Alarm App™! In response to our users’ feedback, we’ve revised our current alarm solution so that the alarm tune plays even when your device is in silent mode. After all, it is an alarm clock application! Please note that this only applies when the application is running in the foreground. Background alarm functionality does exist, but is limited due to current iOS multitasking restrictions. We’ve also added support for selecting and playing sleep-tunes without the need of a pre-defined playlist. A sleep-tunes shuffle option has been added as well. Finally, we’ve fixed a few miscellaneous bugs that had popped up on rare occasions. We would also like to take the opportunity to inform you that The Alarm App™ received the FWA Mobile Of The Day (MOTD) Award for January 1st, 2012. FWA is an industry recognised award program, established in 2000, showcasing projects which use cutting edge technology, together with inspirational ideas, that lead the way for future generations.
