USAviationWX is an iPhone/iPod Touch application designed to access current and forecast weather information from NOAA's National Weather Service server. Although this application is intended for pilots, non-pilots will also find it easy to use for reviewing current weather.

USAviationWX has an internal database of nearly 2,000 airports (and weather reporting sites) throughout the U.S. and its territories. This eliminates the need for users to remember a 4-character (ICAO) airport identifier (such as KMCO for Orlando, FL). If one knows the state, then finding the airport is quick and easy.

The app also allows the user to easily create and edit a "Favorites" list of airports.
