Description:

WiFi Warfare is a 2D multiplayer game for the iPhone & iPod Touch, allowing 2 or more devices to engage in combat over wireless network. The current version equips players with 5 types of weapon, 2 types of grenade, and 3 rotating maps. Player control includes left, right, jump, crouch, hover, and independent aim using the accelerometer (with vertical calibration).

Additional game modes are in development as well as new maps. Keep an eye on the website for updates (wifiwar.com) and feel free to send in your comments. It is a goal to keep this game evolving with your feedback.

REMINDER: Requires a minimum of 2 devices to enjoy! The game was built from day one as a network game and will offer little amusement to the solo player beyond chasing grenades around. Do not purchase this game unless you have others to play with!

CONTROLS:

- Tilt device to move crosshair, use screen buttons to move player
- Touch to left of fire button to toggle weapon
- Touch to left of grenade button to toggle grenade
- Press and hold weapon-toggle to force reload
- Touch center screen to pop the scoreboard


TIPS:

- Hold crouch while sniping to enable long-range shots
- Hold the grenade button down to add distance to your tosses


OTHER:

This version was tested smoothly with 4 players and will allow up to 6. Future versions will have focus on capacity and take advantage of new modes such as team-play. In the meantime be aware that large games are still in development phases.
