Why another flashcard app for the iPhone? The flashcard apps that were available just weren’t satisfying me in my Chinese studies, so my solution was to write my own app. My two main goals were to create a better study system and include a built in dictionary.

Features:

• Better study system that automatically focuses more on the cards you miss
• Built in searchable dictionary that allows you to easily look up other terms as you study
• Picture support
• Browse-mode that lets you easily navigate forward or back without keeping score
• Large number of cards (5000+) can be imported easily (in Pro version. Cards are limited to 10 per deck in lite version)
• Options are set for each deck independently, and progress is remembered across restarts
• Study anything you want!


This app requires that you create your own flashcard text, or find them on the internet, such as at flashcardexchange.com. Creating cards should be an easy process of making a two column list of text in a text editor or spreadsheet, copy/pasting your list into our web site, and then downloading it to your iPhone. You don't even need to use our web site if you can host files on your own web server or use Mac web sharing.
