iFindFriends is a free, easy-to-use chat and location application for iPhone users. Unlike many other chat products, iFindFriends does not require you to register with private information - like your phone number or e-mail address.

It enables you to easily get in touch with your friends and keep track of them in real time, wherever you are in the world. iFindFriends offers you location aware chatting so that you know which friends that are nearby. You can view your friends location and a map.

It is a fun to use application from where you can instantly send pictures to your friends either by using the iPhone photo album or by snapping new shots using the camera when on-the-go. iFindFriends provides buddy icon support, configurable alerts and customizable sounds. You can also use buzz sounds to call for a friend's attention.

By using predefined groups you can contact many friends at the same time.

The translation feature enables all chat participants to send and receive messages in their native language. For example, you type in English and your chat friends see the conversation in their language. Their responses are converted back to English in real time.
