There is no such thing as an ugly color. The challenge is to find the right *combination* of colors. This is where Colorizer comes in:

You start out with an image that conveys the emotion or atmosphere you want to create in your project. You then use Colorizer to analyze the image. It will extract up to 16 dominating colors. For each of these colors it can generate suitable nuances based on classical color theory. You now have a palette that you can use to reproduce the essential qualities of the original image.

Colorizer comes with 55 pre-installed images that can give your project a real jump-start. This set is organized into 11 themes and includes photos from renowned photographers all over the world. As an extra bonus, each image can be exported to your photo album in a format suitable for wallpapers.

In addition, you can use images from your own photo album or import pictures directly from the the camera (iPhone only).
