Well, then we have the perfect app for you.

iKitty is a kitten that lives in your iPhone.

What can iKitty do? Run away if it's not happy! The question is, rather, what does its owner have to do to make iKitty happy?! For only the owner who is not too busy to care for the well-being of this kitty-cat several times per day will be accepted by his/her new best friend. The only reward: iKitty stays.

Among the daily needs of iKitty are three square meals, the satisfaction of its playtime requirement, and ample petting. Whoever offers these comforts will enjoy the accompaniment of a happy purring kitty for around two weeks. Whoever does not, or even attempts to tease it, has probably already been a long-time cat owner...

We cannot confirm reports of disgruntled stray kittens. As committed animal-lovers ourselves, we of course condemn all actions that may lead to discontented housecats!


Instructions for responsible virtual pet owners:
1. Feed it, play with it and pet it to sleep at breakfast, lunch and dinner time.
2. The best way to pet its back is with two fingers but never the wrong way.
3. You can also pet or play with iKitty throughout the day.
4. Be careful not to touch iKitty’s sensitive areas and do not try to use it as an Ocarina.
5. Do not abuse iKitty by shaking or rotating movements with your iPhone/iPod Touch. It won’t appreciate it.
6. When iKitty runs away, you must clean the kitty litter box with your fingers. The happier iKitty was with you, the cleaner it will leave the litter box.
