iWordCards is an iPhone/iPod Touch application that is designed for children, those learning to read and those needing to expand their vocabulary and reading speed.

The application is designed to show in succession words from a defined list to learners. Learners can then have the word read out or explained or defined by a parent or teacher, or can read the word aloud themselves. In informal testing, children between 4 and 9 years found the application fun, easy and engaging enough to keep them occupied for 5 - 10 uninterrupted minutes
