Description:PixalPedia combines your camera, GPS, Google Maps and a geographic search of nearby Wikipedia articles.
Use PixalPedia to quickly capture a photograph and automatically remember the geographic coordinates of where it was taken. The photo is then said to be geo-tagged. A small sample map appears next to each photograph which can be expanded to review more detail by a single click.
You can easily send an email including a link to the area where the photograph was taken. This is great for sending reminders to yourself or to another person with specific comments such as info about a restaurant, museum, cafe, etc.
Note that you must have a 3G or WiFi connection in order for the maps to appear. If you're not connected at that time, the geotagged data tied to each photo will still be stored on your phone and and the maps will appear again when a connection is re-established.
Key Features:
* See photographs with their corresponding geotagged location using high quality Google Maps
* Search Wikipedia for articles within a 10KM radius of the geotagged photograph
* Send a quick email with a link to the geographic area tied to a photograph
* Assign existing photographs from your photo Album your current geographic location
* Delete one or more of the geotagged photos from your local photo album
