Description:

circa calculates details for viewing the eclipse on July 22, 2009. Visible in Asia and in the Pacific, this will be the longest total solar eclipse this century.

Eclipse watchers know that weather frequently changes their plans at the last moment. All the detailed calculations for viewing the eclipse done months and years in advance may be thrown into disarray.

You can enter locations relative to cities, typing latitude-longitude coordinates, or using the built-in GPS (iPhone 3G required). An internet connection in not required to calculate viewing information.

The local circumstances show exactly when the eclipse occurs at a given area. Partial and total phases are identified.

It's the perfect companion for a last minute dash down the road to escape the clouds, or to share eclipse viewing details with new friends you'll meet on your travels.
