There are new product codes available for an impending MacBook Pro launch. The funniest part is that the Apple wasn't even down when these were leaked. What's going on Cupertino? Is this sloppiness, or do you want us to find this stuff?
Here are the specs of the new MacBook Pro range, which we're expecting will be available tomorrow morning here and in the US:
MC371LL/A - MBP 15.4/2.4/2x2GB/320/SD/GLSY-USA
MC372LL/A - MBP 15.4/2.53/2x2GB/500/SD/GLSY-USA
MC373LL/A - MBP 15.4/2.66/2x2GB/500/SD/GLSY-USA
MC374LL/A - MBP 13.3/2.4/2x2GB/250GB/SD-USA
MC375LL/A- MBP 13.3/2.66/2x2GB/320/SD-USA
MC024LL/A - MBP 17/2.53/2x2GB/500/HR-GLSY-USA
The codes seem to match up with what 9to5 Mac reported recently (http://9to5mac.com/node/15822)
We're guessing this means the Core 2 Duos are finally being replaced by Intel Core i5 (13in and 15in models), and i7 (17in model) chips. We'll post more information as it comes to hand.
We can't claim to be the first with these - Mr X posted to the MacTalk and AppleInsider forums just minutes ago.
