Android’s Co-Founder: Developers Can Now Afford to Wait on iPhone

As recently as six months ago, the founder of Android was recommending that start-ups focus on the iPhone first and then move to Android.
Miner said that, until very recently, the money was still in making apps for the iPhone.

Android 創辦人：開發商應優先選擇 iOS 平台

日前 Android 共同創辦人 Rich Mine 在舊金山的 MobileBeat 2011 會議上表示，應用程式開發商應優先選擇 iOS 平台，待 iOS 應用程式開發完成後再將資源轉入 Android 中。雖然 Android 系統的手機數量已經超過 iPhone 了，不過能讓應用程式開發商賺大錢的平台依然是 iOS ，而非 Google 的 Android 。

我看要優先選擇iPhone不是因為錢，而是因為軟體測試吧？

要開發安卓的軟體，根本無法測試全部的安卓裝置。

光是測試三、五台就要瘋掉了，何況是各國各廠商的每年新出手機呢？

it is easier for users to develop and test applications because it supports side-loading of programs so that companies can test out and refine their ideas before launching them.

應該是說iPhone目前是壓測的好環境，所以先去apple做完壓測，確定ok，再到android。

Android 開發後軟體支援度很令人汗顏
幾乎都是支援知名機(HTC等)
還是iOS系列好
除了Apple TV
所有iOS設備軟體幾乎通用
不過還是只有向下兼容(設備)
軟體是向上....
