Description:Welcome to the world of Indian Classical Board games "Vimanam" (means temple's tower or a plane) is one of the old classics that indians enjoyed playing for centuries. To make it much more interesting we have created a storyline around this. The kingdom is facing the wrath from the dark forces who are trying hard to throw the King out of his throne to acquire the power. Having known the conspiracy against the kingdom, the King appoints 6 of his ministers (configurable with 1.1 version) to find out the whereabouts of the dark forces. Being threatened for life, the ministers send the message to the king in 6 scrolls. The message was written in cryptic manner such that the King has to receive all the 6 scrolls to decipher the contents to conquer the dark forces. Dark forces plan their vengeance against the brave soldiers and chase them for their life to abduct the scrolls. It is a game of luck and strategy and it is your responsibility to save the kingdom or leave it to its peril. The objective of the game is to take the coins to their respective destination and whoever reaches first wins. Things to know:Traditionally this game(and other Indian board games as well) were played using two small wooden or metal pieces that are 6 to 8 cms long or with cowrie shells. These can roll 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 12 (and 8 on some variants) unlike the dice that can roll 1 to 6 or 1 to 12. The engravings of these games are being found on temple carvings and stones on the walls indicating how deeply these games were part of their pastime activities. Instructions:- Player 1 starts from left and player 2 from right. - You have to roll 1 to take the coins from your home location- Rolling 1,5,6 and 12 will fetch you second chance to roll the dice- The destinations marked by a scroll image on either side of the board - Each player traverses 79 locations to reach their destination and they travel opposite to each other- A player landing in a slot occupied by the opponent's coin, would 'cut' the opponent's coin and the opponent's coin will be sent to it's home location. The opponent has to start all over again by rolling1 to take that coin out of home location- However if the slot is marked by a picture, then both the player''s coin can stay together without cutting each other- You can choose iPad or a friend of yours as your opponent- Dice with plain face indicates 12Features - Two player board game - Opponent can be a person or iPad - AI intelligence level selection - Ability to change settings during the play without interruption - Excellent graphics for real ancient look and feel - Cool sound effects
