Barcode scanning and fast item search have arrived! Each item can now be tracked using its UPC/EAN barcode. An item's brand can now be separate from its name.Scanning--------We now have an online barcode database that includes 1000's of everyday items. Adding and updating items is now fast and easy! Just put the barcode in front of the camera and it will automatically grab the details!Devices that support auto-focus cameras (iPhone 3GS or newer; iPod Touch 4th Gen or newer) will be able to add and update items by scanning the barcode.Devices without a supported camera will be able to enter barcode numbers using the on-screen numeric keyboard. All the same functionality is otherwise available (online lookup of product information, etc).Note: Details of items scanned are only available according to what is available in our online barcode database. You will be asked if you would like to contribute details for any new or unknown items, thus helping all Home Food Storage users.Fast Item Search----------------The new fast item search will search all your items as you type. It will search item names, item types or barcode numbers and instantly return the results.
