MobileSubstrate is one of very important addon for [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]jailbroken [/COLOR][COLOR=blue !important]iPhones[/COLOR][/COLOR] as it provides supporting framework for many useful jailbreak apps like Sbsettings, BitSMS, WinterBoard etc. Unfortunately with every new [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]iOS[/COLOR][/COLOR] & jailbreak release and Mobile Substrate needs to be patched to make it work with that iOS.
On our iOS 4.3 Jailbreak posts for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G, 4G & iPad we had warned users that many things like MobileSubstrate doesn’t work on iOS 4.3. Now here is first fixed version of MobileSubstrate however it is not yet pushed as update in Cydia might be because of tethered state of iOS 4.3 jailbreak. You may [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]download[/COLOR][/COLOR] and install updated MobileSubstrate following below guide.
How to Install Fixed version of MobileSubstrate on iOS 4.3
1. Download http://apt.saurik.com/debs/mobilesub...honeos-arm.deb
2. Make sure you have jailbroken [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]iPhone[/COLOR][/COLOR] on iOS 4.3
3. Now search iFile in Cydia and [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]install[/COLOR][/COLOR]
4. Now search OpenSSH in Cydia and install
5. Open your SSH client (WinSCP for PC or CyberDuck for [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]Mac[/COLOR][/COLOR]) and SSH to your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
6. Now Copy mobilesubstrate .deb file downloaded in Step 1 in your root directory.
7. Open iFile and open the location where you saved the .deb file. (private/var/root)
8. Tap the mobilesubstrate_0.9.3367+6.g629fcfa_iphoneos-arm.deb file and press Install.
That’s it you have patched version of MobileSubstrate on your iOS 4.3.
