A coloring application with a twist! I wanted to have a way to help our kids practice their spanish vocabulary and since they love coloring, I decided to write this application.

Colorea (A spanish form of "To Color") is designed for toddlers (I would say two and up) ; it contains 15 easy to select and easy to color pictures plus a blank page that can be used to create their own designs. Double clicking will fill in the area with the selected color and the crayon becomes thicker as you draw which allows your kids to have both fine and thick pens without explicitly having to make any selections.

As you select the pictures, you will hear the spanish word and see the spelling, that also happens for the colors, so it is easy for kids to relate colors to words and learn the pronunciation. Think of it as a coloring book with spoken words.

There are a few big buttons easy to click for two year olds to save, erase and even take a picture to use as a background.

I have tested it on my iPhone, but it may work for iPod touch also (without the camera functionality)
