This Pocket Sudoku Solver is like a Swiss Army Knife for Sudoku fans. It solves difficult Sudoku puzzles for you on this handhold device.

The app is simple to use. You enter the givens and then click on the "Solve" button. The app solves the puzzle and displays the solution.

In addition, the app reports the difficulty level of the puzzle for human solvers. It categorize the puzzles with five levels: 1) Easy, 2) Moderate, 3) Hard, 4) Inhuman, and 5) Evil. It further reports the time taken to solve the puzzle as a numerical measure of the relative difficulty of the puzzle to compare with others.

In case the givens are self contradicting and not solvable, the app detects it and tells you.

This app can crack some of the hardest Sudoku puzzles despite of the limited CPU and RAM power of the handhold device.
