Me2 enables quick and easy contact cloning between iPhones using sound and the iPhone's external speaker and microphone. Me2 does not require Wifi, third party websites with cumbersome logins or Internet connectivity. Me2 is immediate, quick and private.

Using Me2 is easy:

1. The sending iPhone's speaker volume needs to be at the highest setting. To increase the volume, shake the iPhone till prompted by Me2 and raise the volume (using the volume button on the side of the phone). Volume should be at the highest setting and you should hear a tone confirming that the volume is high enough. Changing the volume at any other time does not affect transmission volume!
2. Align the phones' bottom edges opposite each other so that they touch (as in the screenshot). This is easiest to do on a flat surface, a table or a chair for instance. It can also be done in your hands.
3. Select a contact to clone on the sending iPhone.
4. Tap 'Send' on the sending iPhone (the contact appears on the destination iPhone).
5. Tap 'Create New Contact'/'Add to Existing Contact' on the destination iPhone.

Please read these additional tips on using Me2:

* You can flip (upside down) the Me2 interface for more convenient use by changing Me2's settings in the built-in iPhone Settings app.
* Create an Address Book contact with your own information to let Me2 clone your contact info to your friend's phones.
* Me2 presently clones only the following contact information: First name, last name, company, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, website addresses and mailing addresses.
* Me2 is not intended for cloning an entire address book.
* Make sure to unplug headphones when using Me2. Me2 will not work with headphones plugged in.
* Make sure the phone is not in silent mode. Me2 will not with with the phone in silent mode.

Me2 uses the FEC LGPL library.

Note: Me2 has been tested to work on iPhone 3G devices. It has not been tested with any other devices. It may or may not work with 1st Generation iPhones.
