Have you ever been out somewhere new and wanted to know if anyone lived nearby? Or maybe you're in a new city on business and you want to see if any potential dinner companions live close by? Or maybe you traveling and need a place to crash? Friend Atlas looks through your iPhone Address Book and finds out which 10 people live closest to your location (using your GPS or Location Services). You can also input the address of where you plan to be so that you can plan ahead.

Friend Atlas is convenient because, unlike other apps that find people, it doesn't rely on other people to own iPhones or be signed up for the service. As long as they are in your Address Book and have legitimate addresses, Friend Atlas will include them as potential search results.
