Description:Like many popular games, Connect Five goes under many names. In some countries it is called "Five in a Row", "Fünf in eine Reihe" etc. In other countries it has been given names suggesting simplified versions of chess, e.g. "Farmers Chess" , "Vagabond Chess" etc. The game originates in China where it is called "Gomoku".
There are two players. In western countries the game is typically played on a piece of squared paper. In Asia is usually played on a 15x15 square board. The players alternate in setting their marks/pieces on the paper/board. The first player to get five symbols in a row wins the game.
This game has the following features:
• A finger friendly interface. It uses a square size of 32x32 pixels which is about the minimum size that can be selected with a reasonable amount of precision. All interaction is based on gestures. Swipe to change theme. Rub one second to undo. Rub two seconds to reset.
• A custom made AI engine tailored to the iPhone and iPod touch.
• Multiple themes, both western and Asian style.
• Cool sound effects.
