Description:

Caching is an offline geocaching application. It's an ideal geocaching companion for areas where fast data transfer services are not available, or for those who doesn't have unlimited data plan. Instead of reading cache information on the internet, you load caches to your phone before your geocaching trip.

With Caching, you can read the cache descriptions, hints, logs etc. You can navigate to geocaches with the simulated compass function which resembles radar screen (iPhone 3G only; on iPhone 2G the radar screen is not accurate enough for finding geocaches). You can also make notes about your findings to log notes list.

You can transfer geocaches (LOC or GPX files) to your phone with easy-to-use CachingServer application, which can be downloaded from the support website. Or you can transfer them from FTP or HTTP server. Geocaching extensions are supported on GPX files, so you get cache descriptions, hints etc. NOTE: To be able to download GPX files from geocaching.com, you need premium membership.
