Description:

QuickStat allows you to quickly calculate 6 common statistical tests. It is designed for small data sets and it features fast data entry and automatic comparative analysis of data in one or two groups. Data is saved between uses and if desired, data can be saved to files.

On the main data entry screen, mean and standard deviation is dynamically calculated as data is entered. Touch the “Stats” button to see mean, standard deviation, standard error of the mean, and probability of those means tested against a mean of your choosing. If there are more than 3 data entries per group, the “Stats” page also displays the average of the ratio of the data points (paired), the unpaired and paired differences and Pearson correlation coefficient. Probabilities are also calculated for each of these statistics.

In addition, if there is sufficient data in each group, a linear fit is done and you may enter any “x” value to see the predicted “y” based on the linear fit.

Want to see how the data looks? Touch the “Plot” button and a simple plot for both groups of data and for ‘group 1’ vs. ‘group 2’ is shown. Estimated sampling distributions are also shown and a visual representation of the p-value for the expected mean entered by you.

Data can be masked, allowing quick “what-if” testing.
